Tip: A handy feature of fishermen pants is that they can be easily adapted to fit any size. Being wrap pants, the waist fits any size as is. While the leg length can be easily varied by moving the belt up and down. You can detach the belt, and sew it a new place according to your own measures. As a not particularly tall person, that’s the first thing I do when I get my new fishermens. I put it on first to determine the desired length, and then I move the belt down. First I tear it away, and then with just a few simple stitches, I get my exact leg length. This makes the overlapping part few cms longer, which also looks very nice.
